The brief was to create a positive campaign for Nando’s Spring promotion: 1/2 chicken and any single side.
South Africans are gifted in seeing the funny side of things, even when all seems lost.
Even when lockdown level 5 was announced, South Africans found the upside, like creating a ‘platinum hit’ based on the ban of cigarettes. We’re always ready to see things as half-full. Like Nando’s, we’ve always played a role in showing South Africa the bright side of the most spoken about situations - with our great chicken and our great humour. Even though our meal is a 1/2 chicken and any side, our famous 4 makes our half better than anyone else’s – we see the chicken as half full.
